孙燕姿欲低调恋爱 不禁漏嘴承认恋情
Stefanie Sun accidentally admits her relationship
I was like HUH?? when I saw that headline. So what's new?? I thought that we all knew years ago she's been dating? Its only that she don't want to talk bout her private live too much to the media. I think the media nowadays really got nothing to write... That time said that Stefanie Sun Yan Zi is no longer that famous, then now they're trying to dig up old news and create some "sensational" headline to grab the attention of the fans/ readers (but sadly, I think they failed.)
Main aim of the article should be about Yan Zi's upcoming concert, "The Answer Is…"but the headline don't seem to be sending that message across effectively. No wonder times are hard these days. No "sensational" headlines= not that newsworthy= harder to do promotion = less money for the artist.

[Movie] 17 Again/ Knowing
Watched 17 Again on Tues. Movie was not bad. Definitely a must watch if you're a Zac Efron fan. The starting scene will already make your eyes light up. Totally Hot! There were quite alot of basketball scenes of him and he looks really cool playing basketball and also doing all those basketball stunts. I'm not totally a fan girl of him since I didn't watch High School Musical and I'm not into western celebrities, but I think he's cute (especially when he smile). I like his slang and voice too! He actually look more mature compared to my initial impression of him.
So watch the movie if you're a Zac Efron fan!

[Video] Kelly Poon imitating Sun Yan Zi singing Cloudy Da
Just saw this video of Kelly Poon doing a imitation of Sun Yan Zi's 天黑黑(Cloudy Day). I must say she did a really good job of it!! Most people always fail when imitating her.

[Movie]The Wedding Game

Pic credit: http://www.gv.com.sg/
Trailer (uploaded by RJcrazy123)
Watched The Wedding Game 2-3 weeks ago. The plot was Bleh. Everything was too predictable. Its like we already know what's going to happen next. Besides, the ad for the movie makes people anticipate it to be a really funny movie since the trailer shown on TV says that it was the most hilirous movie of the year (or something along that line). But after watching the movie, I don't find the movie very funny. I think Jack Neo's Love Matters is so much funnier than this movie. If I have to vote, I'll definitely choose Love Matters over The Wedding Game.
I think the major attraction for the movie is no doubt the 2 leads, Fann Wong and Christopher Lee. Since both of them are a real-life celeb couple which draws alot of interest from Singaporeans, having them together on big screen is definitely a major attraction. Besides, they're also getting married soon, so having both of them in a movie that is related to wedding and relationship blurred the line between reel and real life of the couple.
Netherless to say, Fann Wong and Christopher Lee's chemistry is great and they are the driving forces of the movie. Without them starring in the movie, I don' t think the tickets would be selling as good as it is now.
I think the problem of the movie is that firstly, the plot lacks depth. The main plot was just that both of them are not very famous celebrities and they pretended to be lovers in order to generate more headlines for themselves. However, in actual fact, both of them hate each other. But as you would have guessed, they begin to discover each other's good points and gradually fell in love. Yup. That pretty much sums up the plot. Throughout the movies, there were alot of scenes of them squabbling with each other etc. Some of the parts could be better developed as well. For example the part about the obsessive fan and also the relationship between Tom (Blackie) and May (Alice Lau). It would also be good if there were some surprises in the plot instead of it being so dull and predictable. Despite saying that, I think that the plot may have been alright if the characters in the movie are better developed.
The characters in the movie lacks depth. I'm still not quite sure of the personality of Jack (Christopher Lee) and Vikki (Fann Wong) even after watching the whole movie. Throughout the movie, I'm just assuming that Jack is Christopher Lee and Vikki is Fann Wong. So I'm seeing them as their real-life personalities since there's not much development and in-depth introduction of the personlities of Jack and Vikki.
Yup, so just catch this movie if you're a fan of Fann Wong and Christopher Lee. If not, maybe Love Matters may be a better comedy to watch!

[Movie]Love Matters

([pic credit: love matters official site)
Managed to go tickets to the movie premiere of Jack Neo's film, Love Matters thanks to Omy.sg. Was quite surprised after watching the movie since I find that the movie is quite different from the usual Jack Neo's film. There's no political jokes, no Singlish or any jokes on current affairs. Only pure entertainment. And this time, the movie is not really family-oriented. Most of Jack Neo's past movies are suitable for the whole family to watch together, but its not the same for this movie (which is expected since the movie is rated NC16).
The casts of Love Matters was at the Gala premiere on the 20th at Vivo, and the casts look so much better in real life as compared to on screen! Alex Leong acted as a shy boy, Benny in the movie but in real life, he looked so stylo and outspoken(I like his smile! So cute.). Natalli (Benny's crush, Jennifer in the movie) usually acts as those girl who's outspoken and can't speak Chinese well, but during her short speech in the cinema, she sounded really nervous and her Chinese was alright. I think she looks really pretty in real life. She just give me a different feeling in real life as compared to on screen. Yeo Yann Yann is really pretty in real life too! HuiGe still feel the same in real life. Just feel like laughing when I look at him. Actually saw him just 2 weeks ago at the suntec 50+ exhibition.
Saw Leon from Project Superstar 2 outside the cinema too. Been seeing him around quite a few times already after PSS2. Still remembered the first time I saw him was at Tiong Bahru for the Project Superstar Promotional event and he made quite a good impression on me since he was the only one who actually turned and smiled for the camera when we knocked on the window of the van.
Love Matters was quite entertaining. A funny and light hearted film which will lighten your day. I was actually feeling quite tired and lethergic on that day, but the movie changed my mood for the day. I especially like the ending part when Jeremy met Ms Wong's family as the audience already knew what to expect and what's coming next, but there was clever delays in the scene to make things so much funnier. Another thing I wanna mention is the product placement in the movie. The New Moon product placement was so obvious that I find it quite amusing. I think if they cut that portion of the film out, it'll make a complete commercial.
Yeah, so catch Love Matters in theatres if you're in for a good laugh and is looking for a light-hearted movie to relax yourself!
